What do we do?
SMU PAW is a club empowered by youths who are passionate in championing animal welfare!
We are dedicated to fostering love and compassion for animals by organising events and initiatives that delve into various animal welfare topics, such as promoting responsible pet ownership and preventing animal cruelty.
In doing so, we hope to share with you new perspectives on animal welfare so that together, we can create a world where animals are loved, protected, and can coexist with us peacefully ❤️

SMU PAW
Animal Day
Past Events

SMU PAW Animal Day (SPAD) is our annual signature event where we bring animal lovers and advocates together to promote adoption, raise awareness and educate the public on animal welfare. It is a family-friendly and pet-friendly event that is packed with fun-filled activities, workshops, exhibitions, PAWgeants and many more!
SPAD is normally held physically at SMU campus green. However, due to COVID, SPAD 2021 will be held virtually. Do stay tuned to our website for more information.

Our Shelter Programme
SMU PAW Shelter Programme aims to expose SMU students to the stories of rescued animals and their journey towards finding a furever home. Students embark on a hands-on, year-long volunteering experience at animal shelters, enjoying greater insights into the local animal welfare scene and adoption.
Students will help in cleaning of kennels, walking, feeding, and showering the dogs. The best pawt? Interacting and developing precious bonds with both animal and human friends!
